    Got more of the story on my godchild, Sammie's condition, as I am visiting her this week in chemo.
    Originally, there was a set number of treatments she was to endure- 17. However, The lung metastisis changed the game. Though they did succeed in eliminating those tumors, now the plan is to do chemo until nothing shows up on the CT scan...and then, a little more, to make sure. The chemo is 5 days a week, then two weeks off, then another 5 days. The damage done to her lungs is still ...

    She went in for x-ray scans and found NO tumors on her lungs. Hopefully, the treatment for the original cancer will proceed on schedule without further metastisis.

    Next scheduled round of chemo for 5 days. crazy busy this week but I'm going to try to visit her at some point. They live out in the country, come into town for the chemo, have relatives up here to stay with.

    Visited Sammie again in chemo today. This seems to be hardest on Mom. Mom would like to focus on Sam, but she's managing the rest of the family via phone. Life doesnt stop and let you deal with stuff, all the petty details can just make you scream. Big hugs for mama, prayers for Sammie especially but her mom, sisters and dad, too.
