So... is it possible to get a few genuine Chocolate Bhutlah SM seeds

Hi   Thanks for all the answers. I've contacted "standbyandfire", and i'm awating his answer. I'll also try my luck with nagacanario i think.   I havn't got much hope of succeeding in acquirering those seeds, but i guess we won't have to wait for much longer before it's released anyway - i think...

So... is it possible to get a few genuine Chocolate Bhutlah SM seeds

I've seen a couple of vendors selling seeds titled Chocolate Bhutlah SM, but are they genuine?   I know it probably isn't a stable strain yet, but i'm guessing development of this variety is a couple of generations in already.     So does anyone know of a vendor, or person who could sell me a...

video Cool video showing symbiotic relationships between micro-organisms and plant roots!

I use an organic soil and compost mix. That gives enough nutrients for many weeks. I've tried to introduce endo mycorrhizae (I use a product from TNC called MycorrEndo). I don't fertilize yet, but I've added some bioRoot plus from GHE to stimulate a healthy rhizosphere. I just wanted to clarify...

Kill it with fire! Or nurse it?

Hi   My over-wintered red savina habanero is showing strange symptoms, and i'm concerned that it migh contaminate my other peppers, if it is in fact a desease.   It generally looks healthy - not the prettiest though. I was checking it because it started to drop leafs, and noticed three things...

    Who lives, who dies?

I once grew two plants in a dwc. One of them was faster to sprout, produce leafs etc. It was generally bigger, but then the small one suddenly started stretching. It overtook the other one in a matter of a few weeks both in size, stem thickness, bushyness and ultimately yield. You can't always...

seeds Carolina Reaper Seedling's Leaves Turning Black

Ove just uploades pictures showing the exact same thing. The plants looked healthy except for a tiny sunburn mark, and then they were getting this dark purplish tint that looked like anthocyanins pigment. So I guess CR must have a c. Annuum somewhere in its heritage.

    Symptoms...

Dear fellow growers. I got another observation for you =)...     I see a beginning blackening from the leaf stems that seems to be spreading outward. It almost looks like the same pigment (anthocyanin) as in some of the annuums (with darker/purple leafs), but i'm not sure that this is a trait...

    Symptoms...

Viital thing to forget..   Its the Pink Tiger chili (Pimenta De Neyde x Bhut Jolokia). My seeds dealer had bought some from the creator himself Enrico Lai. So it makes sense that the leafs are purple.    Edit: actually found this image of a similar plant, that seems to have some white tinge in...

    Symptoms...

I much apprechiate your answers. Thank you. They seem to be getting better - or at least, it isn't spreading :like:   I got another picture for you though. It looks like starting chlorolsis. Too much light, or iron deficiency?? I know it looks like image flare/glossy leaf, but thats not entirely...

seeds Are seeds in one fruit identical? (Bit of genetic talk)

Excellent answer! Was unaware of that cross-breeding technique with mixing pollen, that you explain in pt. 5. I am definately going to try that out, which leads me to the following question:   I know that you can remove the ripe stamens prior to pollen release, and put them into an enclosed...

Can anyone of you identify the cause of the following symptoms?   Left-most chili: Czechoslovakian Black   Habanero Dulce:       Status: Recently (week ago) transplated into a nice and fancy organic soil mix containing spaghnum moss and i suppose degredaded compost and the sorts.    Watering...

    Darkgreen's first chili plant glog - 2015

Update 1/4-2015   4 announcements:     1: The 100W XP-G2 light bulb is on its way, yey =)       2: Noticed that also some of the Czechoslovakian Blacks started to produce curly leaves. This made me draw the conclusion that i had begun fertilizing too soon, so i flushed them quite a lot. Most of...

lighting Lighting Options for Covering a 4x4 Area? LED T8 Replacement Bulbs?

I havn't tested this yet... but i have an idea.   Most grow lights with full spectrum etc, consist of white leds, red leds and blue leds. Problem is that blue and red leds are quite inefficient. The red and blue led technology is ~2-3 years old. White leds are getting increasingly more...
