If this would be the coldest it gets all winter, I'd be one happy camper. Nice and sunny today, a good deal of melt-off.... perfect! Still, will be glad when I can move the overwinters back outside.
I am too soft-hearted sometimes. Wasn't going to overwinter the ancho mulato, but the darned thing is still deep green. The leaves only started drooping when snow hit this weekend, while the other plants still outside have yellowed or lost their leaves weeks ago. What's one more overwinter?
Wishing Sandy and her relatives would go away. Flooding is making it hard to get around. Ended up in dangerous territory twice tonight because of road closures. Bah!
Ordered Chinese food for pickup the other night, and asked for extra-spicy. So nice to open the box and find lots of jalapeno slices, whole thai pods, and TONS of red flakes. Sauce is redder, too, from hot chile oil. Leftovers for lunch right now - so good!
