You definitely know your peppers. It looks more like kardoua but not as conical. Also I don't think the peppers grew upright last yr. Weird. Here's a pic of the plant.
I have been growing cherry pepper for 2 or 3. They were round and mildly hot. This year I got a pepper that is definitely not round and hotter. Quite large and pretty.
A neighbor has a burrito hybrid pepper for 6 months. No white fly which amazed me. He also has a basil plant growing in same pot. Maybe he unwittingly discovered something. My peppers will soon go outside so I will let you know in 2 or 3 months how basil works out.
I know the plants look decent but I was wondering if the actual number of peppers are reduced or particularly if they grow smaller size. I will try one pot this yr in 7 gallon pots but if others had success might do more.
Nobody understands the white fly infestation in S fl unless you grow here. I had to spray neem too often for control so now I hard spray just with the hose every day. I think keeping the eggs off the plant is important.
