Hi, I've been growing these two habanero (i think) plants from a "Caribbean Mix" seed packet via Pepper Joe. They were the fastest growing, one of which has super dark green leaves. Not sure if this is indicative of anything. I looked this up on the forum, and saw someone else post the same...
You guys are pickier than some creative directors I've worked with :)
The Hot Ones sauce was made for an online interview series in which celebrities are asked questions while eating wings. Each question corresponds to a wing dressed in a different sauce and increase in spiciness. That...
I agree. I guess the brand's logo is the habanero pepper + the text lockup, but it is a little confusing when the ingredients don't match the visual for sure
Made a mockup on a bottle for you to give you an idea.
I think the text might not be perfectly centered... maybe check to see if there's an extra space after 'ghost'
Also can we just take a moment and appreciate the minimalist beauty of these bottles:
The concept here is letting the design take a backseat to the actual product. The sauce isn't obstructed by a large label, it's the first thing you see displayed artfully in this unique...
You have display copy and body copy. Display copy would include the name of your sauce, and it's okay to have a more illustrative font for that. As far as body copy, which includes your ingredients, it should be a simpler and more legible font.
Also I'm not sure about the decision to have the...
Looks like you squashed the image of the reaper vertically, makes it look strange. Also consider how much of the image will appear on the front of the bottle. Lots of the text will not be visible as it will be off to the sides.
This is looking better than your first two labels though.
If you alter the image enough from the original (and I mean pretty drastically) then you can get around copyright issues. It's a case by case basis, but my mushroom cloud is pretty generic and nondescript. That, coupled with the halftone newspaper treatment I applied should keep it in the clear...
Thanks, I tried keeping elements from op's original designs and took some creative liberties.
I'm personally more into super clean designs like the ones found here: http://heatonist.com/
