Not sure yet. Had thoughts about a small lean-to on my south-facing porch, but have started growing on a bud's property where I would have room for something bigger.

@Jblo If you are looking for a small greenhouse, the grocery store Aldi if you have one close to you has all of their garden items coming in this week with 2 versions of greenhouses, one small 3 level for inside and another that's for outside, plus its large enough to walk in it for about $34. They always sell out every year too. I'm not sure it its alright to post links in the comments section here it is https://www.aldi.us/en/weekly-specials/aldi-finds-for-february-27/february-...

Hey, I like that little walk-in. I'll have to swing out to Aldi this week to see if they have them. Thanks for the heads up!
It's been a long time...but I'm back at it. A full GALLON of surplus cayennes put up with some White Labs lactobacillus for the long haul. Boom.
Largest harvest of the season...in mid-October. Thank goodness for the extended warm weather or it would be a light harvest year.

Hopefully, the warm weather holds out.

My plants are making flowers like crazy, I could potentially harvest another 500 pods.

very warm for october. My plants are still alive which is saying something
Finally, after 2 years of growing them, I've ripened my first manzano - in the middle of the winter, no less. Really cool pepper and well worth the wait!

Just realized I have some manzano seeds in my collection. May have to germinate a few and see what pops.
This season's pretty much a loss for pepper production. Oh well. Learned a lot. Will do it differently next year.

Its all about learning! Ive had my share of terrible seasons. Most being my fault and the rest was just bad luck. I recommend keeping a personal grow log with detailed notes. Thats how I became a much better grower.

I fail at something every year. It is how we learn.

Hang in there jblo you'll get it right next season. I had a bad few years myself :)
First ripe pods of the season greeted me this evening. A welcome surprise after a long weekend. Orange Wild Brazil. As tasty as I remembered!
Thought I started less plants than last year and was proud of myself. But I just found a whole flat I didn't count so I guess I'm growing quite a bit more than last year. Still proud of myself
Can you plant too many jalapeno plants? 6 this year (twice what I had last year) and wishing I had more...

Aren't they just the perfect little snacking pepper?
Enjoying the first ripe pods! Today it was a Scotch Bonnet TFM...that was red and elongated. Very tasty all the same.

Rut roh! How bad and what got damaged?
    jblo

Everything took some damage, but it could have been worse. Lots of holes blown thru leaves and a few severed bits, but everything should recover.

Oh good. Glad it wasn't a decimated crop and blown out windows in your car and house. I've seen that stuff!
All peppers are now planted out. I'm sure I over did it this year...

I've got 2 2'x4' shelves that are filled to the brim. No room potting the lil ones up! Going to a seed swap in a week and plan on unloading some of my surplus there.
Just found out today is National Hot & Spicy Food Day. Having only learned this at 2pm, I feel I've squandered much of this national holiday.
Looks like I'll be renting a plot in community grow center for this season since we're planning on moving. Happy that I can carry on with my growing plans! Maybe even a little room to add a few varieties!
Looks like we're going to try to move by Spring. Guess I need to scale back my growing plans for this year. :(
Everyone's jellies look amazing. I can see I'll be getting into jelly making next...
Smoker is out to get powder coated...but couldn't wait any longer so I tested my heating element in my Weber kettle and smoked some pods this weekend. YUM!
