Pinoy83's one last try!!!2015...Aquaponics(Golden Hawaiian Tilapias)

Looking great! Keen on these updates. Is the top of your gravel damp? If so, you might have algae issues. Water level needs to be about 1-2 inches below gravel. Are you using the flood and drain system? Also, can we have more pics of the fish ;) (Asking a lot, I know!)

    Cartz's 2013-14 Glog - Video update - Waaay overdue

Maybe I will have to have a crack for some flathead when the weather improves. If I do, I will be sure to post it ;)   White powder would look amazing, hopefully they turn out very white for you. Something around hab heat is probably perfect. A couple of times after eating whole supers, I think...

nice plant. Were you going to put the big one in the dirt? If so I think you could probably separate them without doing too much damage, if any, to the root ball.   Might be wishful thinking, but if it got through a dodgey germination it might be a strong plant, and possibly a good producer???

the plants are looking great mate! The shade cloth is doing the job in the ridiculous heat you are copping.   I used the debco premium mix last year, it is pretty good! I have just recycled it this year and added some dynamic lifter pellets.

Mitch's 2013/14 GLOG - In ground drip irrigation set up

Yeah its been too hot there I suppose. Something in excess of 20 and below 35 would be good for a while. I know the variable temps can throw everything out of wack. Hope for your sake you get some more constant reasonable temps by the time summer rolls around.   You could grow some huge plants...

Mitch's 2013/14 GLOG - In ground drip irrigation set up

Thanks mate. Yes the different varieties tend to grow quite uniquely. Its great. I have noticed the cotyledons are different for many varieties.   Its called euci mulch, not really sure exactly what it is, the bag doesn't explain much. But it worked well last season. :)       Cheers! Me too, I...

Mitch's 2013/14 GLOG - In ground drip irrigation set up

Ok so decided to set up the drip irrigation for in the ground too. Roughly $30. Took 2 hours to cut, join, etc. The little drippers off the poly are tight and take some joining, 20 drippers in total.   The bed looks a little messy because I stepped through it, but the rain was getting heavy so I...
