Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place, if it should be somewhere else please let me know. I came home from work today to find an alarming number of little black bettels crawling over 2 of my smaller chilli plants. Never seen them before and haven't been able to identify them online...

Ooo... Good shout. I've had a look online but it looks different. I've tried Epsom salts and will see what happens from here, but I'll keep an eye on them to see if it develops anymore. Thanks for the suggestion!

So this year I decided to grow from seed for the first all. All seemed to be going swimmingly until I started to notice some odd patches on some of the leaves, almost as if the top layer has been wiped off, but only on patches. I've checked books and the Internet but cannot find anything about...

Bought them online from world of chillies. I've tried one, it has a strong pepper taste, like chewing peppercorns. I was expecting something a bit more citrus.

They're actually paler in the photos. They've darkens slightly in some areas but not really changed for about 3 weeks now. The green ones did the same thing. Started pale, went darker green and then turned orange, but nothing else.

  So you're certain it might be a bhut jolokia? Although it might definitely be something else?

I bought 3 chilli plants at the start of the season. A jalapeño, orange hab, and bhut jolokia. The first two are fine, but the latter is not what o was expecting and not like any bhut I've seen before, or on google for that mater. Can anyone tell me if this is a bhut jolokia, and if not, what...
