Yea, same here. Wind also knocked off most of the leaves. Makes it easier to overwinter I guess.
rained alot in houston. good for houston, bad for my peppers, they are bent at the stems. nothing broke thankfully.
A horn worm fought back at me by striking its jaws against my scissors before i terminated it. strange. i have to check every morning and evening for those pests...

Try putting some beer in a container. I used an apple juice container. Cut the bottom off. Fill with beer. Those little buggers cant resist. They go in and they die. What a way to go! ha!

Spray some Spinosad (it's organic) and you won't have to worry about it again.
Found two horn worms sneakily eating my plants. Hope i got them all.

Found 2 more this morning. I think they were slowed down by the diatemecious earth i spread out yesterday evening :D
Tackled bhut jolokia and naga morich with no problems. Red 7pod is the only butt kicker ... so far.
Just bought 3 bottles of Heart Breaking Dawn's Bhut Hot Sauce. Wife loves it, so it goes out twice as fast.

I think their 1498 has better taste than the 1841. Have not tried the new choco hab yet. My wife likes their mango hab.

Its getting very windy again, took down my plastic sheeting a few days ago, so that won't be an issue. Just raised the ties on the stake supports.
got 30mph+ winds + gusts. The leaves on my superhots got tossed all over the place. I hope they didn't die!
