I bought a house and am finally out of that damn cave of an apartment! YAY! But it's too late in the season to start seedlings, so I will only have my one plant this year, the Hot Paper Lantern I've had for 4 seasons now. This little guy has been sitting on my desk at work for almost 2 years...

I just noticed this pepper on my Hot Paper Lantern. It wasn't there a week ago. Am I winning? lol    

Since Dr McPepper is already flowering for 2016, does that mean I'm winning?

I was going to trim this morning and saw I have a flower. Then upon further inspection, I have several branches sprouting buds. Dr. McPepper really seems to love my desk now.            

I was about ready to trim it back and I saw these......... Should I let them grow?    

It's Harvest Time! 14 peppers total. :) That's enough to make Hot Sauce :)                 She looks naked now :(  

If anyone cares or is even following Dr. McPepper, they're ripening quite nicely now.            

That green one looks exactly like my Naga Vipers from 2 seasons ago.

I come in today and what do I find? Two peppers turning red! They grow up so fast. :tear:        

A Little Update I have 14 peppers total and 3 flowers left, I might get 1 or 2 more Most of the pods are about 2½ inches long and few few of them are starting to turn red. So I'm still looking at a Mid January Harvest. Better late than never huh?            

It's just a standard aluminum spring clamp shop lamp and a 60w GE Plant Bulb. The thing is, all of the heat from the bulb is being reflected to the plant. It's kinda toasty, about 80°, the plant seems to love it. I also rotate the plant every couple of hours; so all sides get light. And yeah, I...

I figure since it's producing, might as well post about it. This is my 3yo Hot Paper Lantern. Last year it exploded with peppers but this year there was nothing, until about a month ago. I was going to Winter it again but noticed it had flower buds, so I got a grow lamp and brought it into work...

There's the overhead lights and the one grow light off to the side. Do you think I just need another grow light? That would be easy to add.
