    Best vendor for bells?

Thanks!  I am going with Tomato growers supply.  I have 12 bells picked out, and just waiting on tomato choices from my family.

    Best vendor for bells?

Hello, I have a full round of chilis already sprouted. Next up is bells and tomatoes. I would like to try a new seed vendor this year. Any suggestions? I like lots of variety. Thanks, and happy new year!

What a difference a few weeks makes! I slightly potted up just after my last post (only time planned). They exploded! The trays are Bootstrap Farmer's 50 cell. I must say, these are some well built trays! Should last years.

Please ID! Pretty sure this is a springtail. I observed it for a while, then moved the whole plant to the sink. Tried to drown him out. Ended up having to remove the jiffy pellet wrapper and drown out again. He never jumped. Just crawled around quickly. This is why i am second guessing...

Yep, lots of seedlings popping up now! Im just hoping that some of the varieties with 0 will start popping. I know with my 4 bulb setup, I consume/evap around 4-6 cups per tray every day. 48 hours and I go from excess standing water to bone dry. Gotta be careful and diligent! Im sure your...

Just over 2 weeks in, and I finally have at least 1 per tray. I will be moving sprouted plants together as soon as I have a full trays worth so I can begin fertilizing lightly. Up so far: Corno di Toro Giallo 0/14 Brown Egg 9/12 Fatalii Chocolate 6/20 California Wonder 0/5 Cubanelle...

    media Jiffy seedling covers?

What purpose does the cover provide? I assume it is just to help contain heat. My new setup is on the verge of overheating with covers on and lights on, so Im just making sure before I remove them all.

Its my biggest fear, especially with 4 bulbs. I didn't like any led fixtures without spending a ton! T-5 is powerful as hell, but hot. I may run it with 2 bulb as well. It is overpowered for my needs, but I would rather buy once.

I will try to keep this updated better this year! I have a ton of plants still alive outside. I just pulled about a half gallon of pods today. I haven't decided if I am going to pull them all, or find more room (that i dont have) to plant. I would have to start going 3-4 plants deep...
