  • Getting the beds framed in. One step at a time. Hauled 15 landscape timbers in the Toyota Matrix, thankfully didn't tip over.

I thought you would have put the timbers AND the Matrix on your shoulder, and just walk home, and drop it all in the driveway.

I would of but you know, the image of a squatch crammed into a little matrix hauling timbers is much more humorous...
Watched some movies recently that have changed the way I think. Forks over Knives, Food, Inc., and Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead. If you are interested in lifting the veil, you should watch these films. Otherwise, carry on.

It's not for everyone. I'm going to do my last meal as a great big ol ribeye, twice baked potatoes, and some steamed green beans for dipping in the steak blood.

Ignorance is bliss, so they say. I'll be happy to take that ribeye for ya, and not read the books. ;o)
One of my Bhut Indian Carbon x Yellow 7 F1 crosses is an albino. Very strange. White and purple. I can't seem to get a good picture of it either which leads me to conclude it must also possess ninja like abilities.

Good timing body! You really know how to screw me. Up almost dead coughing and leaking... In-laws in town, 20 some odd people coming over today, and my son's birthday. Hope he doesn't wake up as sick as me. Happy birthday Miles! This year we got a respiratory infection! Woot.

Man, I would really like to see more stickied topics on some of the basics. Like BOTTOM WATERING vs TOP WATERING. Just the basic go to threads like the GURUs overwinter, or the ALL about soil...
Just transplanted 5 Aji Yellow. They don't look happy. Best to test with something I don't even know if I like yet. Anyone have comments on the flavor?

    our peruvian friend loves them.
Just added a new hanging light for stuff like cilantro, tomatoes, etc. Room temp is around a constant 60 but my peppers get the love closet with the heater. I also now have a table to work at for garden related awesomeness.
Burnt up some sprouts. Damn you learning curve! Damn you!

Oh, and the tragic part is, the bhut ic cross is in that batch. I'm really hoping they bounce back since I didn't have any pop yet.

They're a pain in the ass. I spent about 2-3 hours cutting holes in them and loosening up the dirt. Hopefully yours will bounce back. I had some last week that dried out too much and tipped over completely. After watering them they popped right back up after about an hour.

Man. We shall see. I think they are pretty durable little guys. I have altered my method so things should improve.
