    I dont have a greenhouse either. I'm thinking about getting a small grow lamp, since my basement is pretty cold in the winter, and thats about the only place I can setup seeds
    Had a bit more room in my garlic garden, and am planing 16 cloves Lorz Italian this afternoon
    For helping self pollinators along I've had good luck with a $5 electric toothbrush. Turn it on and with the back of the toothbrush (not the bristly side) gently touch the stem above the flower. The vibrations from the e-toothbrush do a good job of knocking pollen around inside the flower

    drill a hole in the tip of the toothbrush with a tiny dremel bit, then glue in a wire of coat hanger, helps reach those far areas
    Bringing my cayenne's in for the winter. Hope they make it through till spring!
