    I found that PhotoBucket is a really easy to use free site for hosting your images. They have to be available online somewhere to upload to the forum. Once I have them uploaded, I mouse over the pic I want to upload, and click on the 'direct link' button in the little menu that pops up. Then I go to the place in the post I want to insert the pic with my cursor. Select the image button from the icons at the top of the post window, and you will see a box in which to place the link -...

    Just paste the link you copied from PhotoBucket into the text box, and the pic should appear where you cursor was in the post. Same for the Profile pic - the 'direct link' method is the only one that worked for me. Let me know if this doesn't work for you.
