Some broken branches on several plants. About 30 peppers lost total. Not too terribly bad, guess I can just eat them green?

another way to maybe deal with the removing problem is cut plants down to about 2 feet above the ground. wait a week, then continue removing. or let plants decay even further..maybe that will help with removing. but I've not had to remove that many plants at once before. guess it depends on how tough your soil is to work with. I have sandy soil here.

Some were easy enough to just pull and the entire root ball would come up. Others I had to dig out giant heavy root mass. The work is done. Peppers and tomatoes have now taken their place. Guess we will see in time if any sneaky banana trees pop up.

Well, I decided to stick with Biobizz Light-Mix, which is a good soil mix. At the moment, I'm not ready for coconut, with its constant stress and physiological changes in plants. Once I get the hang of it, I'll start growing a couple of plants on coconut to stabilize the process. But for now, it's soil only!
