Very interesting. But I can't get seeds from aji dulce 2 here in Germany. Do you know if aji dulce Amarillo has the same pAMT mutation?

    breeding-crossing Peppers with "dominant heatless"?

Many of the milder Chinenses tend to have more and less flavorfull years. The first year I grew aji jobito, it has a really good peach like Chinense flavor. The next year it tasted just like paprika. Maybe I had just a bad habana year. A handful of people report that their habanadas tasted...

    breeding-crossing Peppers with "dominant heatless"?

I thought Habanada were the one crossed with an anuum, but it could also be numex trick or treat or another mild Chinense. But there I definitely on that has been crossed with an anuum. But I don't know if it needed a year's long stabilisation process to get heatless.

Habanada tastes not as half as good as a orange habanero. Found it Really dull tasting. But I think it is a cross between a Chinense and a anuum so maybe the taste is not stable. The sweet moruga is on my list this year, so we will see 😉. The only mild pepper I ever had with a real Chinense...

    breeding-crossing Peppers with "dominant heatless"?

Thanks for the information, a really exciting topic. Well I will try to cross two mild peppers this year so I hope they have the same mutation 😁. On the other hand in my opinion there is no heatless pepper that had the same intense aroma than for example a orange habanero. Maybe that is...

    breeding-crossing Peppers with "dominant heatless"?

There are different types of heatless peppers, or low heat peppers: - Heatless because of to crossbreeding - heatless because of extraction/deactivation of the heat gene - heatless because of a mutation Normally the state of "heatlessness" is recessive. So if you cross a heatless pepper with a...

favorite What is your favorite Baccatum Chili and why?

From the pure taste, i find baccatums at least as good as chinense peppers. But chinenses peppers are my favorites, because i tend to find most baccatums leave a "soapy" taste on the tongue. This is due to an aldehyte that some people taste and some note. It helps to cut the inner, white part...

    breeding-crossing crossing two chinense peppers

Thanks for the tips guys. I wonder if the result would be better wether the "mother-plant" is outside or inside. I noticed that chinense peppers that are growing inside have a hard time to get fruits, and loose many of their flowers. But i dont know if its because of the missing wind and...

I grew some 2 years ago, but unfortunately the seeds were crossed (smaller and hot fruits).   Did anyone grew them and had the original peppers on the plant?

My experience is similar to the most peoples experiences here:   + Fast Shipping + Good germination Rate + Interesting and sometimes exclusive Varieties (got my favorite from him, a mild yellow "Datil") + Good Communication   - High Prices - Not too many seeds per pack - Most of the times some...

Does anyone had sucess growing "Aji Pepon" or Rosita "Amarillo"?

I bought all the sweet peppers from "lindberg Figueroa", and tried to grow them.   I only had success growing "Aji Jobito", and "Aji Rosita Rojo". I heared, that some people were able to grow "Aji Llaneron".   But does anyone grew "Aji Pepon" or "Rosita Amarillo" with success?
