glog Marturos 2025 Glog.

Hello everyone, welcome to my 2025 Glog.
2024 was a great year for peppers we grew many new varieties with great tasting pods.

2025 is looking good so far we just got the seeds planted & on the heating mats.
A little later than last season however with LEDs we needed to start the plants later.
Last season the plants were a little root bound by plant out..

The time is getting very near, the nightime temps are in the low 50s & soil temps are high 50s.
I will feel better with low 60s for overnight & at least 60 F for the soil.

I learned a long time ago that the rush to plant the tropicals 2 soon in ground can stunt them for weeks.

It's Saturday May 24th. We now have the girls plugged into our wet warm North Carolina mountain soil.
All those cold Azz days inside, just dreaming about this day. 😉

It's been very hot & bright lately so everyone gets Surround WP sun coats, no wilting or sunscald.

Now the real fun begins. 😃

Man your Zapotec looks good! @Bou sent me some Peppapeach Stripey as well, which I'll be growing next year. I'm looking forward to hearing how you do with them!
Thanks I had a real time with them.
I ordered a pack of Zapotec from Bakes creek & got really poor germination it took over 3 weeks to pop.
By week 2 I had started my trusty early Jalapeños thinking the Zapotecs were bad seed.

I did contact Baker creek & told them about the Zapotec I also ordered some more seeds. After 3 weeks the seeds were still not here
so I wrote Baker Creek again. To make a long story shorter, they sent me a pack of Zapotec & seeds I ordered together. In the end the
seeds finally came & baker Creek sent another shipment & another pack of Zapotec. Now I have 3 unopened packs of Zapotecs. 🤪

I can't wait to try the Peppapeach Stripey they sound delicious Yum.
