Has anyone used any of this kind? I like the Hepp's brand Scorpion Salt. I got it at a deli I used to go to and the owner gave me a jar of it. Got a bit of a kick-use sparingly.
No but I have some ghost pepper salt that has a hint of chocolate in it that is really good with an authoritative, sharp bite to it that doesn't overstay its welcome. I wouldn't mind some with more heat though.
Suggestion: A version with smoked salt. Smoked salt lends a smoky flavor but not from the peppers, so the peppers retain their vibrancy when dried instead of being smoked. So you kinda get the best of both worlds, smokiness and pepper vibrancy in a seasoning. However I DO LOVE smoked peppers as well! But this is a neat trick to get the smoky flavor and retain pepper characteristics.
