I use 1 tray of dehydrated peppers for 2 lbs of sea salt. Smoked first, then just short of totally dry in the dehydrator. Keeps the sneeze factor down. Fresh is my next attempt, but I like the smoked flavor that comes from actual wood, and not liquid smoke.
I combine them to MY personal liking,and always have powders and flakes (and frozen or fresh, or salsas,Sauces and strange experiments) to add if I want more peppers.
This is my table salt. I use no other.
