thanks elcap, i thought it was nice of them, its a far cry from the thousands they send other families. but its the thought that counts right. plus thats 600 i dont have to come up with for his next treatment. yay
yes it does SHC, yes it does! especially since i am now broke and trying to get the money for him. i refuse to take hand outs but this one we cant turn down.
and in the past 4 years the only thing we have ever gotten was an offer to drive him to his treatments and this $600 check today. to be honest people would rather help a child or a younger person rather then a 64 yr man who is going to die anyway. (i dont mean to sound like an ass either)
and that is why i refuse help, never gotten help before, even when we needed it the most, but we came through and i dont regret anything. i try to help others as much as i can though, because i know what it is like not to have any help at all
That's why I'm suggesting something like Patreon. If you have some creative skills you can put to use online (i.e. music, a blog, or any number of things) then Patreon let's people contribute/pay as a little as $1/month in exchange for you sharing your skills on a regular/semi-regular basis - whatever they may be.
