    A lot of people think it's just "snake oil" but the product Hygrozyme has always worked better for me as far as prevention than peroxide. Just sayin'

    Forgot to add i threw 2 airstones in the reservoir this time around. I only had one little pump acting as a vacuum to get the water to the top and stream the water to the media. So now there's probably 3-4x the oxygen it had before.

    Is there a quicker way to harden stuff off ? work schedule keeps my busy 5 days out of the week .... only have time to harden off on the weekend.

    Yep. Find a semi-shady spot outside that gets morning sun, stick 'em there, and walk away. Next week, move them out of the shade a bit.

    Since you're in Alberta you can most likely follow musky's input without issue. Phil has to take longer since he's closer to the equator.

    39° F should be okay. My OW'ed moruga and fatalii spent the entire winter outside, with the exception of a couple of nights we had a deep freeze in the 20s

    Tomatoes are fine. I don't feel so good about trying it with peppers though

    Got mine in a grow tent. Oldies over a year old from small pots and hydro, handled mid 30's just peachy, and likely helping them reset to "grow" instead of "bloom". Prolly lose a couple of them, as they some were in poor shape to begin with, but all the newbies are inside under lights and in windows.

    mine is. it is attached to my garage. 8'hX8'wX28"D. cement floor. 2 shelves. south exposure all day. has electric for a heater. insulated on the back wall. drywall sides. bubble wrap inside walls.

    So far so good. i just let them sit out there haha no drooops yet. I'll bring them in tonight and repeat again 2morrow. I can't do it during the week because of my work and the wifey just won't touch them haha

    boooo 3 of my plants look like they aren't going to make it, hydro to soil. I don't think they liked the move very much

    How big is it? Small plants can make the transition fine, but in my experience, large or full grown plants can really struggle from hydro to soil.

    My 5" tall rocotos only took a few days to adapt but my full grown peppers a couple of years ago took a couple of months and even then, they were stunted.
