What is the story behind putting matched in the hole you are transplanting into?  I think it  lowers the pH but am not sure exactly.  Can you just add sulfur to the soil instead?     Thanks Casper

I didn't soak and everything popped up except the Jamaican Hot Chocolates but I received word from my supplier that I was not the only one, those seeds didn't pop for anyone.

I also think the problem is too much sun.  If the place you got them did not have them in full sun then they will definitely droop a little and look stressed if you put them straight on a full sun regimen without hardening them off first.  Try partial sun and see if they perk up, and then move...

Space is the issue... I did bring some smaller thai and cayenne plants in at the end of the season last year an put them by a south facing window. It was a nice extension to the season. I don't have room for a light/ growing setup. Even our closets are packed to the rim. I do plan on bringing...

The only problem with that is I won't have time to grow them anymore after two more weeks of germination. I am in Montana so I will be lucky if I can still grow outdoors in early september. I just checked... I do have 4 more seeds I will give them a shot. Any special scarification techniques...

Hello from Montana. I have had some luck growing peppers from seed last year and am trying again this year. It is a short season so I will see what I get. I have started Caribbean red's, Bhut's, cayenne, thai, bulgarian carrot, fatali, and congo trinidad. We'll see... I look forward to...
