    Fastest pepper

So you really feel that the pleasure of eating spicy food is when it comes out? As far as I know thats the part people dislike. Personally I like to build a tolerance so that the discomfort of a fiery run to the toilet does not happen! I like the flavour #1 and heat #2

    hot peppers!

Something about peach superhots that I just love, taste is fruity and unique and plenty of heat. They are like way hotter and more intense flavoured Bahamian Goats. P. Dreadie SB Select is way up there too as well as Aji Pineapple and Jalapeños I mean how can you choose these days??

chinense It seems as though I've grown some Trinidad Scorpions. Now What??

Word of advice when heating/cooking/drying superhots.. watch for the fumes! Do this outside or open all your windows. Also definitely use gloves and be thorough with the washing up as residual oils can still burn. Dont be put off though, you will be surprised how quick your tolerance to heat...

hybrid What crosses have you started this year?

Last year I tried but failed to cross Zapotec Jalapeño with Malih-Helow. The aim would be a chilli with the intensity of flavour of Malih-Helow with thicker flesh of a Jalapeño. I only tried with one flower and the label fell off the bud so Ill try again next season more carefully. A have...

    Pepper Species

Frutescense dont seem to be as variable as the other species. Correct me if Im wrong but Im sure Chinense is in the Anuum complex? Surprisingly enough given the differences Ghosts/Bhuts are interesting as they are meant to be a Chinense x frutescense originally as far as I know

Which of these varieties would you choose?....

You could try grafting a few varieties onto the one plant in future. I have grafted 6 varieties onto a Choc hab to try and get a plant with 7 varieties consisting of 6 different colours and 3 species (chin, anuum, bacc) but thats just for fun no idea if it will work.

Which of these varieties would you choose?....

+1 I grew this last season.. it went peach instead of orange but is my new favourite. Crazy heat, very similar flavour to Baha goat just much more intense. Huge pods with thick flesh too. Baha Goat is great if you dont like it so hot. JPGS is also a super hot winner.

    My pepper plants losing flowers

I have lots of experience with flower drop, my first three seasons almost made me give up growing totally. The plants are not too small its entirely possible for a tiny plant to produce from its first flowers as I have seen this in greenhouses locally. In my own yard I find the plants will drop...
