    Multi-colored Ghost?

Cool, good to know!  My other purple ghost went straight from light green to lavender to rich purple.  The orange and yellow kinda threw me.  I suppose some of it is just being nervous - biggest grow so far and first outdoor grow.  Thanks for the info and compliments!

    Multi-colored Ghost?

Thanks!  They're taking forever to ripen.  I'm just trying to figure out why half the plant is purple and part is orange!

    Multi-colored Ghost?

I noticed when I got home this morning that something was looking a little screwy with my purple ghost.  First pic is the near side of the plant with purple tinted peppers (that I've been waiting FOR-EV-ER to ripen).  Second pic is the back side of the plant that gave me a bit of a surprise. ...

That.... Is an excellent idea. Probably one I should've already known too

    Vandalism? I'm at a loss...

You guys might be onto something....jars are pretty heavy for squirrels (we have eight), but there are three stray cats running around.  I've never seen them close to the plants but.....My first thought was raccoon, now I'm not sure.  This is the first time I've had issues, thought the combo...

    Vandalism? I'm at a loss...

Nope, hot and almost no wind....although that was kinda my assumption the first time.  Also, the jars are half gallons, where taller plants in the half gallon and smaller plants in quarts were just fine.  I'm about 99% sure SOMETHING is doing it.

    Vandalism? I'm at a loss...

Hey there...long time lurker, rare poster.   Two days in a row now, I've had something go after several of my pepper plants.  The ones that have been tipped over have always been in Kratky jars in the back row.  None of the Kratky jars up front have been bothered, nor any of the potted plants...

    Well...this looks...special.

First or second...the two in the picture are they only two on the plant so far, and quite frankly I was shocked to see them, as I think the plant is roughly only 60 days old.  Guess we'll see about the regressive gene  :P

This little fella was supposed to be a Poblano....but looks a little to special to me.  What say you?

Yeah, makes perfect sense...wondering why I didn't think of that lol   Thanks for the info.  Now to get it done without killing my plants.....

    hydroponic Hydroponics and Tomato Cages?

Out of curiosity, other than drilling holes in the lid, what method did you use to secure the cage to the bucket?

    hydroponic Hydroponics and Tomato Cages?

Hmmmm....I guess there's my answer then.  Wrap it somehow and try to get it into the cage.  The DWC + Tomato cage is exactly what I was thinking.  While I'm at it, I think I'm gonna drill some holes in the lid for rubber stoppers, and hopefully I'll be able to test PH and PPM that way.  Thanks...

    hydroponic Hydroponics and Tomato Cages?

Thanks for the welcome NE Chileman....it's an idea I'll have to explore.  Only problem being the plants are already twice the diameter of the buckets lol.  I had a dwarf tomato plant grow six inches over night last night.  For a cheapo setup, it sure does seem to be growin' some plants!

    hydroponic Hydroponics and Tomato Cages?

Hi all,  :hi:   Long time lurker and first time poster.  As you'll see in the pics below, I'm trying to grow a dozen or so plants in my hydro setup in my basement.  I've jerry-rigged 5 gallon buckets with 6" Net pots and clay pellets, intending to find something further down the line (such as a...
