Ghost peppers - dimpled or not

That's what's scaring me. Mine have the shape of a Bhut but the texture of a habanero... I wonder if it's kind of like this guy's hybrid... http://www.thehotpepper.com/topic/17174-beautiful-naganero/

Ghost peppers - dimpled or not

Hi. I grew my first two ghost plants from seeds sent to me from a kind person in Nebraska. It made some dimpled peppers last season and I harvested the seeds. Those plants were near other pepper plants, some habanero as well as trinidad scorpion and some less hot varieties of Indian long...

I grew some new plants from the seeds from these two and they are doing great in the outside garden. The two original plants are outside but still in pots. They have resumed making what looks like the proper ghost pepper shape, albeit a bit smaller than what their child plants in the garden...

I dunno, but the other plant next to it, which doesn't have near the thick leave growth, is starting to make what looks like a normal sized ghost pepper. Both have been indoors the same amount of time - they're sisters.... The bushy plant that made the dwarves has a few left on it and more...

Back here from some hard time off

I don't know if anyone remembers me, but I was here from a year ago to about 2 years ago, but I stopped abruptly. I found out my wife was cheating on me and I had to go through the turmoil of a divorce, come to the realization I can't live with my kid anymore, etc... I had to leave my house...

    My Seeds - Germination Rate

I just planted about 20 ghost pepper seeds in those little expandable peat pellet things inside a little Jiffy greenhouse. So far only 3 sprouted. My boss is growing some seeds I gave her and she said that a few sprouted right away and she thought the rest were duds, but one night the rest...

Guys/Gals, the plants are real ghost pepper plants, the the plants have made real ghost peppers. They were stunted somehow. Here are the true peppers that that same plant has made. I'm not sure why it made 5 runts like that... Not too happy about it but it is what it is...

I have 2 ghost pepper plants a few years old. They make me a few peppers a year and I was overjoyed to see that it had 5 peppers growing in the house. Well, they turned orange but stayed the size of a cherry pit. Are these edible? Thanks.

    seeds Seeds and refrigeration

Hi, I have a pepper here and a pepper there which ripens. If I can't use it immediate I put it in the fridge. Are the seeds from refrigerated peppers still viable or should I not refrigerate peppers in which I wish to perhaps save the seeds? Thanks.

    Northen NJ peppers are growing

Thanks, man. I have learned a lot this year, so next time I know what to expect. If I don't get any of the super hots I am going to have to beg people for seeds again... :( I guess that I shouldn't hope for too many since I still don't have a dehydrator. ;)

Sanam are sold as "dried chilis" for use in Indian cooking. They have some nice heat in them. Dried they look like this.
