    Many plants outside in pots

Last night I turned on the deck light before bed to look at them, and one of the pots had a big fat spider perched on the rim. I went outside to make sure it wasn't a beetle of some sort, and it was a fat spider. I was glad to see him guarding my plants. A good omen?

    Hardining off

I had mine on the window sills and they didn't need much adjustment to go outside. Not much at all. Direct sun no problemo. Heavy winds, however, make me nervous.

Some of my habs outside on a larger planter

The ones that lost their leaves were due to the too strong soap/oil/water solution that I made for the aphids. It killed all the leaves. I was using canola oil, water, and Palmolive. Now I am using less oil, another organic soap and less of it, and water. I sprayed a few plants with it last...

Some of my habs outside on a larger planter

on the back deck. Hopefully they will thrives and the sick ones will recover being outside. I was able to transplant some bhuts/scorpion/7 into larger pots indoors and some are still in the seeds trays. Have to get more pots for them. Aphids still cropping up from God knows where - this time...

pests Sprays for bugs-post your fave!

that garden safe caused weird bubbly leaf curl on mine - or it was a coincidental something else working behind the scenes... and the aphids ALWAYS came back. Used soap/oil water and it killed all the leaves on some. maybe too strong. Made a weaker batch with what I think is a safer soap...

Can win - leaf death and leaf curl

Well, I did the garlic water and cinamon - one lost all but one of its leaves, and the final one is rady to drop. I hope there is enough life left in it to put out new leaves. The stem is thick enough... I think that I am going to use large rectangular planters on the back deck for some of...

What do you guys think of this watch?

AFAIK it's just a name, not meant to be taken literally. Older watches use plastic crystals. Crystal is just the name of the clear stuff that protects the dial.
