Hi! This blog is about my pepper breeding project. First goal: a lemon-flavoured, chocolate-coloured chili. To reduce epistasis and polygenicity
I’m using three crosses:
1) KS Lemon Starrburst × Chocolate Habanero
2) KS Lemon Starrburst × 7 Pot Douglah
3) Aji Lemon Drop × Sugar Rush Stripey.

Who remembers the first hot sauce craze when Dave's Insanity sauce first launched? What year was it? I'm thinking mid 90s...
just little over a month before starting my 2026 Napalm Garden Inferno. Today checking the setup and inventory. overwintering plants are settling. almost locked and loaded overhere!!!
