Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!!! Just a daily check on my plants and damn, they are under attack by some unknown ugly bugs! What are these suckers, are they bad guys?? What to do now?             I immediately sprayed the whole area with neem oil hopefully it was a right thing to do!    

Hello hello   For the sake of GLOG here are my jalapenos, they are looking good :)       Since I planted only jalapenos in big containers (as far as I know) there is one or two plants that are producing weird fruits that definitely do not look like jalapenos.   Any idea what it is pepperheads?  

  Not so often, every 3 weeks or even more I didn't want to make noobie mistake and overdo it. Im giving them NPK  and spraying foliar calcium.   No BER problems so far..what causes BER btw? Literature I found online always focused on calcium deficiency as the primary cause.

Hey this has been bugging me lately - as my plants are beginning to grow pods I am wondering if it is still good practice to continue give them nutrients and especially calcium (to avoid blossom end rot)?   Lemme know pepperheads

  Yes jalapenos only :) I have few plants started from mixed seeds in a smaller container so Im yet to see what will sprawl out.   Share some photos buddy, it would be good to see how your jalapenos are doing.

Im having thrips problem too. Had an aphid invasion first and that was thoroughly dealt with neem oil.   It seems I can't get rid of thrips with neem, am I missing something? I did emulsify it beautifully so that ain't the problem..

I'll leave it as it is and see how it goes :)

Hi pepper brothers,   In your experience what is the best way to apply neem oil? Full blown or somehow to dilute it?   There are only little 50ml bottles available around here.    

Ok my plants are under siege !!    I found these little bugs under few leaves, it appears they are aphids. No need to mention I squashed them and sent them back to their aphid hell! How to control these buggers and their population?       Also my new growth and leaves are bright green/yellow...
