It's never too early to get started!

The branch that broke off had a lot of pods on it, among them a couple of nice large ones. I removed everything except the nicest pods. I hope they will still ripen...

It's never too early to get started!

Had another little disaster today, after a little rain shower. This time it was the foodarama scotch bonnet plant that got hit. One branch broke off completely and a couple other branches split from the main trunk but could still be saved. The fall of the branches pulled another plant (semillas...

    yield Small pods

All my scotch bonnets started with plenty of tiny pods also. Only when the weather finally started to be more like proper summer, pods started to grow normal size. I think many of the THP members had to face this, this season...

It's never too early to get started!

Thanks Anders! Here's a little first harvest... Papa Dreadie top left, HSH top right, Schneider farms bottom... It's only a start, there's still a multitude of unripe pods on the plants...

It's never too early to get started!

Got to taste the first ripened Allen Boatman scotch bonnet tonight. Sorry, forgot to take a picture this time. But then it's just another yellow bonnet...🤷🏻‍♂️ It was a small pod. Had a very fruity/citrusy taste. Nothing floral. It had a good amount of heat that built up very slowly. If that is...

annuum Good Seed Source for Paprika?

I still have quite a few of those jeromin seeds but they turn out to be not very viable anymore. I currently have a plant growing. I hope to get some fruits of it so I can harvest some fresh seeds.

It's never too early to get started!

A little pumpkin shaped HSH bonnet... I ate it whole after removing the placenta. It had respectable but easily bearable heat that took quite a while to build. It had a very clean scotch bonnet taste. Not sweet. Only slightly floral. The wife, who was sitting next to me, complained that her lips...

    P. Dreadie Memorial Group Grow 2016

Tasted one of mine yesterday... this pod was not sweet at all but instead was a little sour. Heat was very mild but it was there and built up very slowly. It took a long time to fade. After 10 minutes or so I kept getting "heat waves" on my tongue 🤔

Sulsa's 2024 "did it again" Glog

That CGN21500 is indeed a really beautiful plant! I know the feeling about the weather... I should be picking pods now but almost everything is still green. Production is abundant though, I did not expect that a couple of months ago...
