    tsurrie's 2020 glog

Rocoto and Kapija's followed yesterday. Still waiting for the others :mope:   I went for a little trail run while waiting, the weather was windy/foggy but you can still feel the nature nevertheless.   our small city in the fog   it was even darker than the picture, but almost magic /...

Good luck with the grow Miha. And you can really get them growing with the topping. Big branches and lots of pods. But do not do it too late nor too soon.

    Essegi 2020: lol!

Really good looking pizzas... I'm just after lunch but I could get hungry again just from looking at those pictures. And nice pics of Dolomites too. Good luck with the grow this season, Giancarlo.

Chamomile tea, weak, just to loosen them up and disinfect a bit. Rocotos are super tasty, Trinidads too, but I prefer Bhut Jolokias taste-wise. Need to get some seeds for them. Will visit some nurseries for seedlings - when time for replanting. Thank you, good luck to you too.

Thanks Harry. Hope they'll sprout at decent rate. Just about to sow them now.   Thank you Paul. I just wish I had the "drive" you do, so much varieties and care of the plants. I just noticed I still have a few of your Aji yellow seeds (2014), just might to add them to the list...

    tsurrie's 2019 glog

Thanks man :) Just try it, it's a good way to keep the heat for a winter...or for a few winters (I still am using sauces from 2016 - they don't go bad for up to 5 years for sure - if properly bottled)   I don't know about them beers going bad and it certainly won't be a problem around here for...

    tsurrie's 2019 glog

Thank you Paul :)   It's interesting how we always have enough pumpkins laying around and only now I see I can use them in many ways. :)   The beer is quite good for a newbie brewer. We grained the ingredients on the spot, so there is no extracts present. We did it the right way, I guess...

    tsurrie's 2019 glog

To end this season and before starting the 2020 one, I decided to make a sauce based on a butternut pumpkin instead of tomato, which was kind of a standard for me. It ended up well, I like the taste and I think I'm going to use some of that pumpkins again.   Ingredients: Chocolate Habaneros and...

    tsurrie's 2019 glog

Hey Scott. That's why I'm trying to get in touch with the nature as much as I can. Luckily we are in a small town and I'm in the woods in 10 minutes if I need the air. But the other thing is, I'm drawn to the computer stuff so I don't mind it much. The kids grow fast, I know that. But in...

actually, I was sooo full after eating that, I could't post for some time :)   no sorry, it was not done... but I'm sure gonna plant these tomatoes in the future too. And that burger will be done and get eaten sooner or later.   I'm actually planning a small chili grow these days, for...

    Devv-2018-Loving life in the dirt

Retirement? Well, you deserve it Scott. And those hobbies, you'll make it happen judging by the hard work so far. Enjoy a bit longer days from now on  That Maloof rocker will come handy in about 20 years or so, sou you have time to conquer that.

:) actually, you got me thinking... there are some "buns" a local bakery is offering, that could be sort of a match. And the butcher from a store near by also offers large patties. This could actually be done :)

    tsurrie's 2019 glog

Been picking a few batches like these over the last three weeks, so tomatoes are growing well. Soon there will be enough sauce for the whole winter and more. And a lot for a few more tomato salads we like so much.   Some of them are around 1 kilo or more...   A few chilis for pickling...
