Im finding the longer you leave them to ripen, the darker and more pronounced the stripes are. How about you guys?! Once they get that deep pink, sunset, orange sherbet thing going on, it’s about time for the stripes to come on.

Ideally and preferably, your chosen plant was selected for exhibiting stripes. You don't have to pick your plant until first harvest but can't switch after. So if you harvested and the plant you chose has no stripes, then your totals would count but we wouldn't desire those seed over the striped...
