Plant growing nicely, warm weather helps à lot

But have some issues, shiny deformed leaves, but i did not find any aphids.

And furry leaves

Could be fertilizer. I also noticed that after transplanting when rapid growth kicks in, sometimes new foliage is deformed, almost like it can’t keep up?

Are we weighing all the peppers on chosen plant or just stripeys?
When saving seeds to send back are we saving them from all pods or just the stripeys?

Ideally and preferably, your chosen plant was selected for exhibiting stripes. You don't have to pick your plant until first harvest but can't switch after. So if you harvested and the plant you chose has no stripes, then your totals would count but we wouldn't desire those seed over the striped selections. Make sense?

finished my last pinch of my grow off plant. I gave the others away so hopefully it has stripes :S

All others are in friendly hands and I’ll be getting some of their seeds back as well to send down. One person might even be joining in to play!

Not much happening around here at the moment but at least I'm starting to see some pods. So far their shape isn't consistent but will they show stripes? Only time will tell!

Aphids get some gasoline and burn that plant

doing some cage adjustments, figured I’d snap an uncaged pic before the competition transplant really gets going. Seeing some fruit on both plants.

I noticed this on my plant too, it looks like there's an aphid on the right just over the out of focus leave

first ripe pods this year, but not from the contest plant.
the pods on my contest plant struggle to ripen but the growth is pretty nice.

Way too many flowers indeed, you should get rid of most of them before it's too late...
