    Finding hole in bonnets

It stuck to one plant of 4 for about 2 mos. I didnt do anything but pull the rotten pods as I found them. By late season I found a couple peppers on adjacent plant that was effected. Pods were bell pepper shape, but jalapeno flavor. Dolce something I think.

    Finding hole in bonnets

I had one pepper plant last season that almost all the peppers had a hole in them and began to rot. In the beginning it was like yours, no signs of the culprit. By late summer and harvest time I statered finding little Caterpillar or worm like pests inside the damaged pods.

breeding Preventing cross-pollination of hot peppers using isolation techniques

Isolate what you can, you should be just fine. I have seen several good growers here planting 3' apart and closer and isolating single branches with great results. Good luck and happy growing.

Help with identifying this problem / illness.

When I enlarge your photo of the top view looking at the leaf stems and branching I see what kinda looks like white bugs/larve. My guess is a bug infestation. The spotting could be late stage damage. Get a magnifying glass or something and check for pests. Good luck, hope you get it solved.

Edema is hard bumps and can't be wiped away Those look like aphids or whiteflys? This is Edema... are you sure you can wipe it off your plant? If you can wipe it away it's not Edema.

    Veggies and Peppers....the relaxed version.

Those are Guindilla. PaulG went to Spain last yr and posted about these pickled peppers are included in almost everything from street vendors. I found seed online and added them to my grow this yr. I plan on pickling them. I ate one last week. It had no heat, not a lot of seeds.

4 beds this yr. One rotted out last season, so next season I'll add 2 more. Plus I have to rebuild the one with the netting on it. It's barely holding together. I do have the boxes crammed full right now but space will open up once broccoli, garlics, cabbages, lettuces are harvested.

Use one or the other. Weekly or by weekly feeding is plenty adequate. Remember, less is more. Changes will take 3weeks or more so be patient. Happy growing

    Help Diagnosing Problems

Whichever plants you choose to fix, remix the entire container. Just try and get a decent rootball even if it's only the original store size plug with roots. The Kellogg just wont be any good as a stand alone medium. Trust me, I bought 20 bails of the stuff. Its bogus. Edited for spelling...

    Bonnets and Scorpions struggling

Did your seeds come from the country of origin? Doubtful. Any seedling or young plant has to be hardened off if not planted outdoors from seed. East coast, west coast, and in between, it's all the same. Good luck
