I have some 2 years old plants, what do you think?

The plants uptake of nutrients is limitless, you just need to provide the method of increasing there metabolic rate. You will consume daily a fixed amount of nutrients/food. increase your metabolism and you will start eating like a fool and if conditioned properly, bulk up at the same time.

Baccatum I would bet. A pic of the whole plant and any pods would be more helpful as well as a frontal flower pic.

Totally awesome feedback.    Yeah, I plan the weekend warrior attack first. I am working on a vehicle for exposure at this time as well, will go hand in hand. I agree on the SHU ratings for most popular sauces. Many times I will opt for a lesser heat sauce to get right to the taste, especially...

    Pepper ID/ explanation

A section of the pepper with another will not conclusively identify the pepper in question. Are you familiar with the flavor profiles of both the chocolate bhut jolokia and the chocolate bhutlah peppers in the first place? If so you should be able to detect notes from each from taste testing...

    Pepper ID/ explanation

I stated as much.   Not all peppers are susceptible to indiscriminent cross pollonation. Pubescence will only cross with other pubs. And there are some species that are even more discriminant.   However the op is obviously not about a pub.

Question. And these will come up almost as randomly as thunderstorms in the spring.    Of those who are now producing sauces what percentage use ferment vs. pH? And why?   Out sourcing hot pepper stock will have to be considered. What kind of volume of peppers are you currently receiving to...

Struggles of a new chilli grower: Great progress, annoying problems.

Yes. Bigger containers I started out growing out of 3.5 gal containers even though I was informed"the bigger the better". That was 5 years ago. I am now growing out of 7 gal absolute minimum and that is only to gain seed stock and a few pods for taste evaluations. I will be going exclusively...

I have never really considered getting into hot sauce making, til now. That said, I have also never looked into any of the requirements either physical or business structured.   For those already involved and looking back at how you evolved, what are your recommendations? What would you have not...
