    Why will it not grow?

wilting is not always a sign of thirst and is not a major concern. I have had plants wilt to the point of foliage drying and still came back after a good watering.

    favorite Your favorite pepper variety

I cant answer the question with one pepper. When I first started growing it was the versatile Jalapeno. Shortly after getting into super hots it was Judy's Brown Moruga. Since that time I have come to relish too many with different heat and flavor profiles of varying degrees. Chocolate Primos...

What becomes of the surplus harvest?

I eat fresh pods on sandwiches and such until the season comes to an end. then dehydration takes care of the rest. You can never have too much dried product.

Looking for the 20 hottest peppers in the world

All I can recommend is to select 20 known super hot peppers and grow them the best you can. If you were to ask this forum community what the 20 hottest peppers were you would get hundreds of conflicting answers based on personnel opinion. Further, I am of the opinion that a hot peppers heat can...

NFTG, Nectar for the Gods nutrient line for HOT PEPPERS

No nutrient line, even used correctly will make any difference if the plant cannot uptake the nutrients you are giving them.   Feed your soil first! then and only then can a nutrient line be used to its absolute potential.
