    Mycorrhizae

Ya, I don't use epsoms with living soil. I think because of the high sulfur content it's an anti fungal. But I know roots organics has a tea that contains kieserite, the raw material epsoms made from. I've been looking at langbeinite (sul-po-mag) and I read a review that said it doesn't...

    7 Pots & Scotch Bonnets (2018- )

Lol thanks for checking out the glog, Andy. Wish I could feed my plants more often. I've been wanting to brew another tea. They're still heavy from the one I gave them weeks ago, and the roots haven't yet filled the pots. Anyway, they don't appear stressed. Being outside and getting the light...

Compost tea recipe for young plants?

Nice kit! Worm castings probably hold most of your beneficials. The molasses is a like an activator for bacteria-dominant tea. Kelp powder and alfalfa meal are good food sources for a fungal tea (also sunflower hull ash and any other plant materials). I think fish is supposed to be fungus food...

seeds Anybody Recognize this.. Seed Tray?

That's what I thought. I was going to ask if you can adjust the depth. It only makes sense with those mating posts. Start off shallow, then raise them as the roots extend down into solution. Pretty slick, but you probably do need to use plugs for that function.

Looks like those posts in the bottom tray fit up inside the cells. Designed for wicking or self-watering?

    First flower is unusually small

This is the first flower to open on a 7 pot primo yellow. It's about half the size I'm used to seeing from other chinense varieties I've grown. I pinched and pruned for a while before letting my plants flower. Now, they're forming a lot of buds at once. Also, I moved them outside on the 1st...

I made this from a home chef basket my mom gifted to me. Jerk chicken thigh-stuffed poblanos with pineapple and pickled red onion.

    Next to My Chair

I would guess the blotchiness of the numex twilight is slight edema. Get a small fan blowing directly at them from the side so they can transpire more water. A ceiling fan won't disrupt the boundary layer of leaves. Especially if the plants stay close together under your light. The dense foliage...

seeds My Method for Starting Seeds

My growdown seeds took 2.5 days to root (including the 24 hour soak). Then I put them in cups of potting mix. They took a total of 6 days to hook.
