Walleye tend not to survive when released after that, not a 100% death rate but pretty high. If we find them & aren't targeting them we move deeper to try & avoid catching them

Was at a local charity derby on the past weekend. Target was Lakers however there is a slot size on this lake so quite a few would be sent back down the hole. My buddy was the only person to record a over the slot fish with a beauty 6.10 lbs the rest of us were battling for the under slot title...
