What is going on with my Chili Peppers

I don't get a lot of fruit set here when it's above 90F with humidity like that.

What Willard said... Just make sure they are in an acquit sized pot, get some air flow, and are under full spectrum lighting.

smoking Is charcoal the new sold out item where you live?

I just restocked RO lump a couple weeks ago at my local Home Chepo, and they had plenty. But I just checked their inventory and it's low everywhere in my area!

chinense Anyone ever tried Stuffing Scotch Bonnets?

Same here! I love making poppers out of Scotch Bonnets! I remember that Pepperlover used to sell that pepper, and I missed it on Garth's spreadsheet. I'll have to order that for next season.

    Peppers dying! Help!!

If it's as hot there as it is here in NC, then you might want to move them into some partial shade until they recover.

water Some kind of Watering Can

+1 I've seen rose growers that are feeding hundreds of plants mix up nutrients in a food grade barrel, then use a sump pump with a garden hose attached to pull the mixture out through a regular old watering wand. The only draw back (besides the cost), is that you have to run a power cord out...

    fertilizer Fertilizers and Soil

Personally, I always use potting "mix", which is soil-less and therefore has better drainage. If you've got the Miracle Grow in the green and yellow bag, then you've got potting mix. IMHO it's a pretty good potting mix, over priced but good.

small-appliances I need a vacuum sealer for freezing

I've got the FoodSaver V3240 (discontinued), which has a gentle/normal speed setting that allows you to slow down the vacuum action. It also has the stop button so you can stop before it totally crushes the bread. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Which chillies should I grow this year? Looking for ideas, recommendations

Regarding the BBG7's... I've grown several different types for the last several years, and in my garden they are less productive than most other peppers. Even other superhot varieties. They were also less flavorful than other chinense peppers. The Peach Ghost has way more traditional flavor, and...

    vendor TexasHotPeppers

Just received my 2nd order from Garth, that included several extra varieties. I had excellent results with the seeds from my first order, so wanted to make sure to get a jump on next season. I highly recommend this vender!

    CMPMAN1974 - 2019 Grow Log

Interesting peppers Chris. I briefly googled around to see where I might find St Lucia SB seeds, but mostly saw references to St Lucia "Seasoning" peppers. Are they the same thing?

My P. Dreadie plants have been healthy all season, but have slightly lower yields than my MOA's.  But they are a bit hotter and very delicious!
