    Soak freshly extracted citrus seed in water over night. Carefully cut off tough seed coat with razor blade. Place on damp paper towel in a ziploc and put it on a heat mat or router. Seeds germ pretty quickly for me this way. Many many citrus will not grow true though.

    Big question....Do you like the taste of chinense peppers? the floral stuff very common in most chinense varieties...this taste is one many like or dislike utterly   otherwise Brazillian Starfish are suppose to be good and have a funky shape. you really can't go wrong with baccatum types for flavor

    Serviceberry?

    Talked to groundskeeper at the hospital and he confirmed its a Serviceberry. Told me there were 2 or 3 more around also. Today there were a little darker. They definitely taste good at the dark red stage. I'll keep an eye on them and see how dark they get.

    would the fruit still rot inside? cuz that would be a bummer. bugs and dried flowers are one thing, but a fruit full of moisture, oil, and mold/bacteria would maybe still break down?   a really cool idea if they are preserved that way though

    Spider mite? they seem solitary but there are lots of them running around all over outside. they are very fast. No webbing noticed, that i can't attribute to a real spider guardian. i smush them when i see them should i neem the plants? I've never used any kind of pesticide...or watch and wait?
