This is what I grow and breed for. Mostly baccatum and baccatum x chinense hybrids. If you are interested in some seeds for next season dm me.

Kratky babies are doing well.
One of my older crosses started fruiting. This one is (Starfish x Aji dulce Yellow ) x Golden Camo (Fidalgo Roxa off pheno).
Strange that the fruit start pointing upwards.
Awesome. That's an interesting pheno on the Sunrise. Haven't seen one like that before.
Mine have been more football shaped or beaked.

Who has grown these? Ona whim I bought a bunch of different numbered versions. 5,6,7 and 9. Are they worth growing? What was the base pepper like, was it a basic Thai type?

Thanks I'll check it out, but Central FL and SE FL have quite different climates. Here it's rare to get below 80f 10months a year.

Thanks,
I have more room to expand, but starting slowly to get the hang of indoor hydro. I'll probably switch these plants over to 5 gallon DWC when they get bigger. Gotta keep a low profile so my DW doesn't complain about all the Amazon purchases.

Good advice. While you are awaiting the test results, foliar spraying with chelated minor elements wouldn't hurt (as long as the plants aren't heat stressed), and may help nurse them along until you figure out what's going on with the soil.

The ghetto grow box transformation. Moved the seed tray plants up to 4" pots outside under cover. Transplanted a few more rockwool cubes to Kratky. Then reorganized the grow box.
Got the first flower on Aji Ayucllo
This started coloring up. The F2 selection was more yellow-orange instead of bright yellow. We'll see what she tastes like in a few days. Parents were Cheiro Do Norte and Golden Camo (a Chris Fowler Roxa hybrid)

Made a first attempt at Kratky today. Took out one of the Aji Sunrise F4 seedlings, washed off the soil, secured it in a rockwool cube and placed it with the roots halfway in the nutrients.
