PeriPeri's Grow Log 2012: South Africa

Dude, great shots at the Chile Festival and great stories to go along with it.  Best of luck with the new venture.  The logo is great and the packaging is even better.  "Exceptionally Hot"...love it.  Good luck on the new starts, and even more luck on resurrecting the greenhouse!

Highalt's 2013 Grow - End of Season Wrap Up

Really nice variety, Bonnie, and the plants are looking great.  Huge Billy Biker Jal!  Looks great on top of that delicious-looking dish.     Regarding the Golden Cayenne, yes, mine mostly grow upward, as well.  My original seed was from SocalChilehead (Fernando).  The seeds I sent you were...

Stickman's 2013 Glog - Time To Pull The Plug on 2013

Wow, Rick!  Your plants look great.  Happy to see them podding up for you.  Love the variegation on the Fish Pepper.  My Butch T was one of the last hold outs to set pods, so your's is holding suit.  Everything looks fantastic.   Happy 4th!

Hope you get out from under the rain, Jason, and get to enjoy a proper July 4th!  Those pods are getting big!  Love the shape of the Chocolate Scorp.  Love the Peach PI!  ;)  Love yellow pods, but I'm thinking peach-colored pods are my new fave!

    Stefan_W's 2013 Pods A-Ripenin'! Glog

Wow, Stefan, your last two updates when viewed together really put your grow into perspective.  I'm really glad to see that they are not just bouncing back, but bouncing back with a vengeance.  Looks like you indeed will have pods for the season.  Most excellent.

    DocNrock's 2013 Glog - 7/11/13

Last harvest was this past Friday.  We had a couple of days of 110 degree weather.  I think it caused a mass wave of ripening.  I harvested about half of the plants this evening after getting home from work.  Had to stop when it got dark.            I'll harvest the other half of the plants...

    DocNrock's 2013 Glog - 7/11/13

There must be geographic differences in their taste buds.  Last year when we moved back into this house there were some rats living in the garage.  They wouldn't touch peanut butter on the traps.  But they seemed to have a "fatal attraction" to Velveeta. So that's what I'm using now.  :)

    DocNrock's 2013 Glog - 7/11/13

FIFY.  :D     Tebow looks like a good doggie!  He could never do anything like that.....     Definitely rat hunting season.  Crafty bastage has stolen the cheese out of two traps.  Time to reload.  Hahaha, thanks Scott.   Thanks Stefan.  Not really dug up...chewed off right at the soil line!  I...

    DocNrock's 2013 Glog - 7/11/13

Time to quote you again, Scott.  I took a little walk through the back yard.  This 110 degree heat has caused a wave of ripening.  One of the Sepia Serpents was 90+% ripe.  I couldn't help myself.  I had to pick it and see if it was hot as the parent pod.        It has some oil.  :)  I tried a...

Bodeen's 2013 Grow _-_ Love at First Sting

Your garden looks fantastic, Jeff.  Fresh pods with the meals.  Speaking of meals, that one looked incredible.  Did I spy a ripe Chenzo in that last harvest shot?  BTW, Jimmys are ripening here.  Great tasting pepper.  Thanks for the tip!
