Sweet!
It looks like I MAY have a save in my misfortune. Luckily, I posted back in January I believe it was. I posted a grow list of the varieties I attempted to start this year. After reading my post I may have actually put them down in order, just that I did not number them here anyways. I...
First, I would like to apologize that I had not been here as much as I had said I would like to this year, and I truly miss spending a lot of time this forum and the people on it. Life has just gotten busy. Anyways, now on a much brighter side, the topic above...
So this year, I had decided to...
Ok. Now I am officially sick as hell, but want to keep my promise the second time around. So, here I am after dragging my sorry behind to the computer for this. So, sit back and please enjoy.... :)
Here is the list in no particular order, except that of the containers they are planted in.
Early...
Ok. So last night I had planted my plants for 2016. Now just to wait for them to germinate.... I will post varieties a bit later, or this weekend when time permits. I did however back down to 36 plants for this year, due to time requirements. :mope:
Hey there. I was wondering if you had any 7 Pot Burgundy and Jamaican Hot Chocolate left to trade? I will take a peek but I believe I have a couple Brainstrain varieties, and MAY have Primo and Datil (not sure of stock on the last 2). Pm me your info, as I am just east of the big city.
Hell, you did ok. I lost a few early in the year. Just seedlings and they got hit while hardening off. It sucks, but that is why I consider this a good hobby. I have learned a lot about actually trusting the weather forecast. Even if they are wrong.
Yep. I am in the same boat. Last year I had around 40 plants, this year in the 80 neighborhood. I said that that was it. I was going to restrict myself to 40 plants maximum again for year three. I too have a fair amount of powder left from last year, so froze this years harvest to use 'fresh'...
This stuff is a learning experience, and again I learned this year. The actual harvest was decent anyways, just that the pods did not all have a chance at ripening on the vine.
Just a little update for you all. As I am a zone 3 grower, living just east of Winnipeg, we were unfortunate to get hit by a fairly heavy frost last night. So, I got up early and went to water my plants to save them, only to find my garden hose and sprinkler frozen as well! So I thought I...
Welcome bud from Manitoba as well. Please watch out here, and be careful with this bunch. They are a GREAT group of 'Chiliheads', and know their stuff as well as very eager to help. Also one more thing to watch out for. This stuff IS addicting.....
Hi all again. Just got back in from holidays to a BIG problem. I left my plants in my mothers care the last week and a half and came home to a BIG problem. I told her she could pick and eat the Early California Wonder Bell Peppers while I was away. So I get home and she was proud to tell me...
Sorry, I cannot comment. This is my first year growing them, and have not seen them in person before.
And for everyone else, thank you, again. If it wasn't for this forum and knowledge, I would not even have near what I have posted here after a year.
Oh, and here is a list.
Top: Biquinho, Datil, 7 Pot Yellow, Trinidad Perfume, Fatili Gourmet Jigsaw, ???, Yellow Brainstrain, Carolina Reaper, ???
Bottom: Cherry Red Hot, Hot Hungarian Wax, Jalapeno, Fresno
