I had a couple of pods produce 2-3 seeds each, but the other pods had no seeds. The pods were 1/2”x1/2”, lobed and went from green to purple to red. Super interesting visually, but wasn’t very hardy for me as a houseplant. It did great in the 11/2 qt. container that I had it in outdoors, but...

I grabbed some of the same seeds on last year’s Seed Train. Planted 4 seeds and all germinated. Had one mutant and 3 plants like the one in RHCP’s photo. Found a pic of the mutant, but not the others. Going to sow some of the seeds from the mutant plant’s fruits this next season.

Can’t wait for the 2024-2025 Seed Train!!! Sure would like to see more seed train participation from the community, though.

Backcrossing it to its recurrent parent with the elite genotype or to genetically similar stock will restore the elite genotype of that offspring. You can grow radishes anywhere…but here, there or anywhere a pepper plant can thrive. Next question??? Sounds like the conversations that I have with myself when planting out. All those plan-zzzzzzzz. My radishes are in containers this season. Needed their in-ground space for pepper plants...

Boy, those seedlings are stretching for some light! They’re more than likely ‘top heavy’ and bending over fromfrom the excessive stem length. The fan breeze is probably contributing to the issue as well. The stems aren’t able to withstand the weight nor the air pressure from the fan. Humidity...
