    Post Your Favorite Coronavirus Antiseptic

Last time I saw a bottle of it, it was selling for $1K. . Get this, though...  while the average pour - if you disinfect outside the house - runs about $450, I found a local place that has old stock, and some "co-op" ethics.  They pour Yamazaki 18 for $40, for a full 2oz. pour.  I drank almost...

Heck yeah!  I'm not a fan of blended antiseptics, but Toki passes as a good Irish antiseptic, and The Yamazaki is just a good single malt antiseptic, any way you slice it.  Have you had the 18 year?

Impeccable timing.  It's a great time to start thinking about hygiene and health again.  Hopefully, we're all able to wipe our bums! . . . For whatsoever way in which 2020 sucked, it was certainly a great year for antiseptics.

It looks super heavy, and looks as though it has no drainage.

That was a sun scald.  However, I think your plant may be a bit growth stunted.  What is it planted in? (what is in the container - is that earth or a mix?)

Peppers don't have a "blossom phase", as such.  But they DO exhibit blossoming when nitrogen levels drop off, consistent with seasonal phases. (it can actually be interpreted as a stressor - which will definitely cause blooms) However, I don't like to say that too loudly, because some growers...

To answer your first question - yeah, but no, but yeah.  I HAVE to reduce the feeding, because they maintain, at best, after March, and before November.  They come alive in between those months.  But they don't grow like my other peppers.  Not even close.  They neither require (according to...

Funny thing about superhots...  When it comes to powder, my favorite, and least favorite are both superhots.  Favorite being 7 Pot Primo, lease favorite being Madballz (sorry Adam).  A little bit sure goes a long way.  Funny how a proper drying really brings out the flavor.

So...  no follow up?  Have you abandoned this effort?

health Spots on leaves. What is this?

This plant does not look like it's growing well.  For where you live, that plant shouldn't look like this at this time of year.  The leaves are short and round, and new growth is really gnarled. . Anything else you can add to the story?  Maybe more pics?

    White Flys

Sorry to hear that, dude.  You know that I know what you're going through.  . If there's any small consolation...  they do tend to be cyclical.  One year, they're pandemic, the next, they are almost non-existent.  Only problem is, you just never know how that cycle is gonna flow out.

I was asking about temp, because low temps can cause things to turn purple.  It's not an actual nutrient deficiency in that case, just the appearance of one, cause by lack of availability.  If you ever see outdoor plants after a light frost, many of them are dark colored. . Just trying to rule...

    Dormant or dead

Yeah, that's not typically enough.  I got a 35 degree reading , myself.  Since my leaves were newer, they crinkled.  But bounced right back when the new ones grew out.  For us to lose leaves, you're generally gonna need below freezing for at least 2 hours. . At any rate, you should be seeing...

    Dormant or dead

I gotta say man...  I've been in Florida for almost 20 years, and I've never seasonally topped and root trimmed a plant.  Not sure what others do in other parts of the country, but I posted pics of my plants, as they are right now.  I typically get a little leaf yellowing, and SOME drop.  But...

Almost didn't see your replies in red. . A big "NO" (for right now) on the CNS17 and fish juice.  Especially for a rocoto.  Take my experience as you will - I grow rocotos well out of their optimal environment, and I've only been doing so successfully for a couple of seasons - but it's been my...

If your plants get too bushy indoors, it's a good idea to give them a "flat top", to keep the light somewhat consistent.  Along with that, rotate the plants every week or so, from middle to edges, to help even it all out.  And, it's not a terrible idea to prune them to grow more like trees.  ...

I'm not sure what model you have - but for reference, I have a "400 watt" (obviously it's not) COB, that I have at a height of about 36" from the soil line.  I was working very close to that 20" at first, but it was creating white spots on my leaves, consistent with sun scald (albeit, more...

How so?  Phosphorus is easily the most overused of all macros - but very few pepper growers ever see single nutrient deficiencies that aren't nitrogen, and it certainly isn't exhibiting excess P.
