We hit around 50 IBU's on our double IPA   You figure we are maintaining 205-210 degrees for the 20 minutes of whirlpool, plus the 45 minutes it takes to cool the beer in to the fermenter   its quite a bit to be honest, you still get quite a lot of isomerization even without being at a full boil

here is the recipe for one of our NE IPAs on our 1bbl pilot system, this was the original Animorphus recipe before I tweaked it into what it is now, Changeling 2   https://untappd.com/b/collusion-tap-works-animorphus-changling-2/1741853   70% Pilsner, 15% oats, 15% torrified wheat   zero boil...

    New batch Hefeweizen

that is going to be a full on caramel malt bomb with the color of a dark brown ale   in a 1bbl, 31 gallon batch that we do on our pilot system, I use 1lb of special B in a 65 pound recipe to add serious raisin character, and you did it in 5 gallons   its more similar to a weizenbock than a hefe

    Candi syrup d-240

FAN, oxygen, minerals, zinc, DAP, all that stuff is needed for a proper fermentation   candi syrup is basically a mixture of different types of sugar and water reduced into a thick sludge

I will judge them the day that they show up, its only fair for this type of beer and there should be no condition time   it should be dry hop for 3-5 days, then a single day of crash and into the bottles/kegs to either bottle condition or carb and ship   I turn around my Animorphus IPA in 10...
