Mine smells like crayons once you get about 8 inches down. And red like crayon too. But it can be the best growing you've got if you do it right.

Nope. It gets so dry here most of the summer I just take about 10 gallons out of the ground, and pound it out with a rake and shovel while mixing it into my mix.

The years I mixed my East TN clay in with my potting mix were the best years I ever had growing in pots. Listen to the guru, check out his plants, and ignore the rest. :)

I may have to change my selected plant.  we just had a good round of hail and I had left them outside...  Dammit

Most of what people talk about is from research from the cannabis growers.  While they are a wealth of knowledge, it does not copy/paste into all types of growing.

This is an 18-watt cfl providing only 1200 lumens. Texas Tepin. This thing churned out hundreds of pods from this one light source in a dark office.  5k lumens per foot is a TON of light and not needed  

I am still holding out for my serlano though.

  Was a Bhut from a few years ago.  Only a few weeks old.  Was maybe 1.5 feet tall at the time.

Does a cutting count as 2 months old?   :P   Ill get one picked here shortly.  

Edema, too much moisture.  Not an issue.

Better safe than sorry. New rcw can still tie up nitrogen.
