I've made a few sauces using super hot chili vodka and I've always added it at the very end of the process to prevent heat lose. I know Candice uses pure cap dissolved in vodka for her Incinerator sauce. A good test might be PE mixed into bread dough with a sample before and after baking.

Drunk math... 1/2oz= 14.787g .5g(cap)/14.787g(vodka) = .0338 cap/g .03381 cap/g*16,000,000SHU/cap = 541,024 SHU/gram (or ml) Units look funky but it seems to make sense. Quick example, 1g of 16m SHU in 2ml of vodka would be a concentration of 8m SHU. Correct? -Peter

It would make sense that a percentage of the heat would evaporate along with the alcohol content, when it's baked or cooked. -Peter

Not sure what to call that...glad you survived. As for the SHU it's much less than 8m (with the cap powder being between 8-12m) since it's diluted in alcohol. We won't know until it's tested. Best guess around 2-3m. -Peter

I have yet to find an application where this stuff doesn't work. Mayan hot chocolate with half a dropper was amazing last night. Having the massive heat kick complements the cinnamon and spices in the cocoa. As compmodder said there isn't much throat burn so everything goes down easy. :cheers:
