As the title says, I was wondering if using my aquarium water from my planted tank would be good for watering since it doesn't contain any chlorine and there is ferts in the water. Any thoughts?

It looks to be that they are growing towards the light source or it could be damping off Make sure not to over water them. I would get that shop light up and running asap.

I don't have any of those but I have a bunch of others on the go. Chances are they will not flower under the lights before you put them outside. Mine didn't flower until Aug of last year (since I started too late)

We may have to swap seeds some time then ;) I use a 4 foot, 4 bulb T8 shop light from Home Depot and it seems to do the trick, but if you are going to get T5 go with the 6500K bulbs. I live in Toronto as well and I started my seeds in Jan. I wouldn't worry about starting this early because our growing season is shorter then most. What kind of peppers are you growing?

4 lights or double bulb?

The lowes up here in Toronto doesn't have the same deal. We get ripped off for products big time up here.

I am looking into getting some lights to grow my seedlings before I get to put them outside in May. Would a 4 bulb T8 Shop light fixture be enough, or should I invest more and go for a 2 bulb T5HO?

Well the seeds where from a pod (the only pod) I was able to fully grow last year. I kept them in a old cassette tape container on top of a speaker so maybe not the best idea. I ordered new seeds to give more selection and hopfully more pods then last year.

How long on average does it take to start Butch T seeds? I grew these last year and I have a feeling that it didn't take this long (over a week) and nothing popping up in the mini greenhouse.

Ya I am wondering if they will take longer to ripen now that they are indoors and not blasted by the sun.
