soil Soil temperature after getting hooks

I have already clicked watch on this topic, its something i have been very interested about for a long time. Only thing i can think of, is that if you look at the fact it takes around 70-80f to germinate, i would assume that the soil temp needs to stay at or around this temp to keep the plant...

Worm Farm / Worm Tea / Show us yours.

Ok, so I hope I’m not the only one that does this, but........ I actually put all the scraps that I want to feed my worms into a food processor and blend it all up, and feed that slop to the worms. They seem to love it and it gets eaten very quickly :) Am I the only one that does this?

Worm Farm / Worm Tea / Show us yours.

From what i understand, yes. I use rain water from a tank that i have to make the brew, and then again to dilute the tea a little when i foliar feed and soil drench. Edit: Only a newb to all this as well....my word is far from gospal

    Worm bins and coffee grounds.

With this system, you dont need to screen the castings and the bottom tray will have nothing but castings in it. All the food has been eaten and the worms have moved upto the next layer looking for more food.

Worm Farm / Worm Tea / Show us yours.

If your using a multi tier system like i have, you dont need to worry. The worms move up the trays as you add more food. As for tubs / bins and that type of setup, you can use the technique that you suggested, using an old window screen or something similar. Or you could get a worm / compost...

Worm Farm / Worm Tea / Show us yours.

While i spent a little extra to get the worm farm that i got, they are really quite simple to make. You can use buckets, big tubs, some people even use an old bath tub. Its really quite easy to keep the worms happy. I found the most expensive thing was the worms themself. cthunter01, looks like...
