    Raccoon Problem - Need Suggestions

We have raccoon, bob cat, possum, armadillo, probably some horribly venomous snakes that people set free, some lizards that might be dinosaurs, alligators, rabbits, and I still manage a garden without having to kill, shoot, drown, maim, stalk, molest, harass, write a strongly worded letter too...

    Help with Plant Problem

Thanks I think it's a nutritional deficiency as well. There has been a bit of rain lately and then some over watering. I'll put down more fertilizer this week.    The plant is outside but we put up a shade for the afternoon sun. If we don't the sun will kill the plants. Ah, love Florida.

    Raccoon Problem - Need Suggestions

You people are violent. It's just an animal looking for food. He didn't say he was on his porch, saw his pepper plant moving, and when he approached the plant, a rabid raccoon jumped on his face and ripped his right ear off. Then while he was screaming and bleeding on the ground it ripped all...

    dehydrators Nesco Dehydrator

I also have a nesco with a thermostat (I make beef jerkey for my dogs - spoiled little babies). Do you set it to the lowest and let it run or do you play with the temps a bit? Also, do you 'have' to put it outside to dehydrate?

    New to growing in general.

Do you have a fire escape that gets full sun? (laughing) I know it sounds weird but you could put the plants on that for a few hours a day. You can make your own grow lights/grow system if you want too. Here i a video. He's using a drill but you could use a nail and a hammer to make the holes...

Atropa belladonna and other wild Nightshades

Belladonna is already used in medication. You're not doing something new there. As for keeping the plant, you run a lot of risks. Animals, friends, accidental ingestion, how would you feel if someone got hurt? Say it was growing in your yard naturally and you did not know it was there, a...

    Help with Plant Problem

So the AACT would help knock the problem out? They have good light and airflow (outside). They're in a very large container with other bell pepper plants. I'm a bit worried about over fertilizing them at this point.

    Are these plants dead?

Florida heat just sucks. My plants will droop in the day and as it cools off at night they perk back up. However, right now it's horrid here. I have the plants shaded and don't allow them to have that much direct sun. It just looks like they got wilted because of the heat. REmember we had almost...

    Help with Plant Problem

I'm positive it's not mildew. It doesn't come off if I touch it. They're not yellow they seem to be thin. The yellow is the sun/light bleeding through the leaf.
